The firm announced the expansion of its local workforce and new investments focused on technology, energy, mining, agribusiness, and the knowledge economy.
EY Argentina announced the creation of 800 new jobs and a significant investment in artificial intelligence (AI) and business transformation in the country. The announcement took place during the gala celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, an event that gathered leaders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, executives, and authorities from various productive sectors.
Expansion of the team and commitment to innovation
With this decision, EY will expand its workforce to 5,800 professionals, who provide services to more than 3,000 local and international clients.
According to Fernando Paci, Country Managing Partner of EY Argentina, the incorporation of new talent and increased technological investment are part of a strategy to foster innovation, enhance competitiveness, and support the digital transformation of companies.
Paci emphasized that the new hires demonstrate EY’s commitment to the future and its confidence in local talent:
“This investment will strengthen our capacity to innovate and continue developing projects that positively impact the local and regional economy.”

Investments in strategic sectors for Argentina
The firm also plans to invest in key sectors for national development, including:
- Technology
- Energy
- Mining
- Agribusiness
- Knowledge economy
The goal is to support the transition toward more sustainable, digitalized, and competitive production models. Paci noted that new technologies do not replace human talent—they enhance it. For this reason, EY aims to build teams with hybrid capabilities, combining strategic vision, digital skills, and technical expertise.
15th anniversary of Entrepreneur of the Year
The announcement took place during the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Entrepreneur of the Year program, through which EY recognizes Argentine entrepreneurs for their leadership and economic impact. The event brought together business leaders, academics, and representatives from chambers and associations.
During the gala, the book “Argentine Entrepreneurs: A Future That Inspires” was presented, featuring testimonials and experiences from award winners.
Since its launch in the country, the program has honored more than 70 entrepreneurs across categories such as Master, Emerging, Lifetime Achievement, Executive, Outstanding Woman, and Social Entrepreneur. In 2022, Gastón Taratuta, CEO of Aleph Group, became the first Argentine to receive the global World Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Artificial intelligence as a growth driver for EY
EY Argentina’s projected growth is closely tied to the intensive use of artificial intelligence and automation. The company plans to integrate these technologies into its consulting, audit, and financial advisory services to:
- Optimize processes
- Accelerate decision-making
- Develop customized solutions
- Improve operational efficiency
Globally, EY has positioned artificial intelligence as a strategic priority, investing significantly in proprietary data analytics platforms and machine learning systems.
In Argentina, this strategy is reinforced by expanding local teams and strengthening the firm’s regional service centers, which export technological solutions to multiple countries.
