GlobalLogic seeks to add experts in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science to its operations in the country.
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is pushing organizations not only to make decisions faster but also to redefine their strategies and work teams. In this context, GlobalLogic—a leading digital engineering company—announced its plan to incorporate more than 450 professionals in Argentina during 2026.
This initiative is no coincidence: the country already accounts for more than 80% of the firm’s hires in the region, a trend that continues year after year. “Argentina remains a benchmark destination for global technology companies seeking high-quality talent,” Sebastián Bainer, Senior Vice President and Head of LatAm at GlobalLogic, told LA NACION.
Specifically, Bainer defines the country as a “High-End Talent Hub.” The reasons? Highly trained professionals, time zone alignment with key markets, and a mature technological ecosystem. The executive also highlights the creativity and adaptability of Argentine talent—two essential attributes in AI-driven environments.
“Our role as a company is to empower that talent, supporting their development in disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science to accelerate the implementation of complex solutions on a global scale,” he stated.
The Search for Talent
GlobalLogic’s recruitment will focus on Data Engineers, Back-end, Front-end, and Fullstack developers proficient in Java, Node, .NET, Python, React, and Go, as well as specialists in test automation, cybersecurity, DevOps, Cloud, AI, and Machine Learning.
“What these profiles have in common is not just technical knowledge; it is their attitude toward change,” Bainer noted. He added, “In a market where technology can become obsolete in a few years, the ability to adapt and keep learning is as valuable as mastering a specific stack.”
In line with this, he emphasized the importance of soft skills, such as effective communication, remote teamwork, proactivity, autonomy, and critical thinking.

Agentic AI
The announcement also follows the recent integration between GlobalLogic and Hitachi Digital Services. However, there is an even greater factor: the fast pace of AI, which demands complex, large-scale solutions with increasingly specialized teams. “AI is ceasing to be a specific tool and is becoming the engine of new business models,” the executive emphasized.
In this regard, Bainer explained that GlobalLogic’s current focus is Agentic AI. “This approach allows moving from isolated solutions to a strategic infrastructure based on intelligent agents capable of planning, deciding, and learning autonomously. These are integrated into different business areas—sales, human resources, finance, customer service—to generate concrete and sustained improvements in productivity,” he detailed.
According to the executive, Argentina will be a key location to sustain the growth and development of this technology. “The decision to grow now is not a bet on the future: it is a response to a demand that already exists,” he concluded.
